About Us
A Richfield Original Since the 1930s
For more than 90 years, Sandy’s Tavern has been a part of the Richfield community. Located on Penn Avenue, the tavern has been serving up burgers, drinks, and good times since the early 1930s.
Originally known as Chapman’s Tavern, the bar became Sandy’s Tavern when A.B. “Sandy” Crans took over in 1941. Over the decades, Sandy’s has earned a reputation as a classic neighborhood tavern—a place where generations of Richfield residents have gathered for a cold drink, a great burger, and a little conversation.
From its famous olive burger to its unmistakable old-school atmosphere, Sandy’s has remained a beloved Richfield institution while welcoming new generations through its doors.
More than 90 years later, we’re proud to keep the tradition going.
